How to Apply
Entrance Requirements
- High school dropout
- Minimum 7th grade reading level
- Commitment to learning
- Students must be at least 17-20 years old
- If over 21: See High School Diploma or see GED classes and tests

2. Download the Application
- Download, fill out, and attach the application to an email to Mercedes_Amador@dpsk12.org or print and bring to Room 202.

3. Come to EGHS
Please come to EGHS, at 1250 Welton Street, room 202. Bring the following:
- Your completed application if not already emailed
- Your birth certificate or passport
- A copy of your transcript from the last high school you attended
- Immunization records
- Photo I.D.
4. Take the MAP Test
It is best to do this when you deliver your paperwork at the EGHS office. Allow at least 3 hours for this assessment. Students may begin testing anytime between:
- 8 AM-1 PM, Monday through Thursday
- 8 AM-10 AM, Friday
(Reading score must be at least 7th grade or higher to enroll. To improve your reading score, practice reading before taking the test.)
5. Orientation
A portion of the orientation is on-line. You will be given instructions on how to proceed.
